BCW's 2012 Tournament Format

Open Tour Format: Single Elimination – Masters/Open (11 games), AA (10 games), A,B,C (9 games)

Rack Your Own Eight ball, Nine ball, and Or Ten ball  (break from the box) 

 * Break Pot * $750 starting February 4th - $5 donation per ticket (player drawn at each tournament) sanctioned players only allowed to break.  if you are not a sanctioned player and your ticket is picked you must elect a sanctioned player to break for you.

50% of pot remainder goes to 2012 State Championship. The remaining 50% goes into the following seasons break pot.

Sanction Fee $15.00 (lasts entire season)

Highest Placing Woman Gets Paid at every event!

 

Amateur Tour Format: Single Elimination A (10 games) B (8 games) C (6 games) - (no master or AA players)

Rack Your Own Eight ball, Nine ball, and Or Ten ball  (break from the box)

Highest Placing Woman Gets Paid at every event!

 Juniors and Woman Race to 6  games unless promoted through ability and known skill.  All Handicaps decided by

tournament director. (Jr. must turn 19 after January 1st of 2012)

 

Points are awarded in each division as follows:

  • Game won 1pt
  • Match won 5pt  -Byes-  5 points
  • 1st pl. 75 points
  • 2nd pl. 50 points
  • 3rd pl. 40 points
  • 4th pl. 30 points
  • 5th & 6th pl. 20 points
  • 7th & 8th pl. 15 points
  • Everyone else gets 10 points

The tournament points will add up and the total number will be the standings.

First place point finishers in each division at the end of the tour season will be awarded a free entry into all State Championship events and be crowned season player of the year.  Second, third, and fourth place finishers will receive a free entry into the event of their choice (not all can choose same event).
