Romines High Pocket brought out 25 amateur players for the $200 added 9 ball tour stop. The excitement was tremendous from the start of the day with Tim Nickl of Racine making a big roar winning $756 in the break pot.

On the winners side four players battled to get to the hot seat match. Marlon Angeles defeated Robert Treffeisen 8-4 while Francis Rave Sr. worked over Jason Jick 7-5. Marlon and Francis showed their stuff in the hot seat match with Francis Rave Sr. coming out on top 7-4.

Over on the east side final eight John Conrath is beaten by Dan Hau 6-3, Chris Hennen wins over Mike Regan 6-4, Tim Nickl beat Peter Westphal 6-4, and John Ribbich defeated Dale Elenich 7-4. In the final six on the one loss side Tim Nickl advances over Chris Hennen 6-4 and John Ribbich advances over Dan Hau 7-2. This put Tim Nickl against Jason Jick and John Ribbich against Robert Treffeisen. Tim Nickl won over Jason Jick 6-1 and John Ribbich won over Treffeisen 7-2.

It was a close double hill match for Tim Nickl and John Ribbich but Nickl prevailed. Marlon Angeles nipped Tim Nickl in another double hill match leaving Nickl in 3rd place.

Francis Rave Sr. stayed competitive defeating Marlon Angeles in the finals 7-1 becoming a BCW tour stop amateur champion.

Eleven amateurs made there way to Oshkosh to play in one of the last two $300 added BCW tour stops. Four players were left on the winners side Nate Detroye, Tyler Styer, Francois Choudoir, and Chris Gitzlaff. Nate Detroye won over Tyler Styer 6-5 and Francois Choudoir sent Chris Gitzlaff to the one loss side 8-4. In the hot seat match Francois Choudoir kept up his steam beating Nate Detroye 8-2.

Tim Nickl beat Robert Treffeisen in a double hill match and Chris Mason beat Mike Regan 5-1 leaving both players in 7-8th position. Tim than had to face Chris Gitzlaff and won the match 6-1. Chris mason was beaten by young player with potential Tyler Styer in a double hill match. Gitzlaff and Mason both finished in 5-6th position while the two victors advanced.

Young talent Tyler Styer bested Tim Nickl 5-3. Tyler must now try his skills against Nate Detroye in which he does without hesitation winning 5-3. Francois Choudoir awaited Tyler and played up to his full abilities winning the match 8-2 leaving Tyler in 2nd and taking the victory at the amateur tour stop.
